I work with you live (via Zoom or in-person) to refine your space, bring clarity to your design direction and create the visual tools needed to relay your design to your clients.
HOW IT WORKS:​​

1. SCAN YOUR SPACE
Use Occipital Canvas to capture a 3D model of the existing space. It's fast, easy and paid directly at around $0.26/sq ft.

2. COLLABORATE IN 3D
I'll prep the model and we'll walk through it live - solving layout problems, sketching cabinetry and creating visuals to reflect your design.

3. REFINE + DELIVER
You'll receive a cleaned-up SketchUp file with pre-set animation views to present to your client.

What is the process for booking? 1. Start with a free 15-minute introductory call 2. Once decided, book your design session online 3. Fill out the intake form and scan your space (if applicable) 4. We meet live or virtually to collaborate on your project
What happens after I book? You’ll receive a confirmation email and intake form where you can upload your scan, project goals, and any notes. We’ll meet at your scheduled time (via Zoom or in person), and I’ll continue working on your file afterward. You’ll get a refined model or visuals based on what we covered.
I'm a Designer. Can you work under my brand? Yes - I support you behind the scenes so you can stay front and center with your client. Whether you want help modeling your designs or need input on layout and cabinetry—I’ve got you.
I'm a homeowner - can I still book this service? Absolutely. If you're planning a renovation, feeling stuck on layout, or need help understanding your plans, this is for you. I’ll work with you to make clear, confident decisions that save time (and headaches) during your project.
Why is pricing different for Homeowners vs the Trade? Trade clients are professionals who typically provide their own design direction and need support with execution—so I’m able to work more efficiently and with less oversight. Homeowners, on the other hand, often require more explanation, broader support, and personalized design input. The difference in scope and time commitment is reflected in the rate.
Can I book just one hour? Due to the nature of this work, we require a 3-hour minimum. This ensures we have enough time for scan review, model setup, live collaboration, and post-session refinement.
Can I book additional time? Yes! If your project grows or you'd like more support, you can always book additional hours at the hourly rate.
How does the 3D scanning work? We use the Canvas app by Occipital, which scans the room and produces a SketchUp-ready model. It costs about $0.26/sq ft and is billed separately through the app. We can assist if needed or handle the scan in-person for local clients.
Do I have to scan my space? Can't I just measure? Utilizing the Occipital Canvas app to acquire measurements for a space is the most effective and precise way to get exact dimensions and details - for both in-person and virtual appointments. What the scan can capture detail-wise allows us to make informative decisions from any location. In our experience, building a file from scratch with provided dimensions ultimately costs more in time than the scan.
How long can I expect the process to take? With the hourly service, the project timeline greatly varies based on the scope. The best way to provide more clarity on your project is to schedule an introductory call.
Do you offer cabinetry fabrication? Yes! We offer cabinetry production through my long-time collaboration with Freestate Millworks. This is a great option for custom kitchens, built-ins, and vanities.
Do you offer full-service design or procurement? Yes! If you're looking for start-to-finish design, including furnishing, finishes, and construction coordination, please schedule an Introductory Call. Procurement is not currently available as part of the à la carte services.
